Hear him, "For Nigeria and the African continent to attain rapid economic development, its leaders must develop passion and innovation to drive it to another level."

Fox who was accompanied by his wife, while speaking further noted that the country needs to set a road map or pathway to start a journey that would upgrade it from its present status, stressing that integration and unity among the countries should serve as a major ingredient that would move the country to a higher pedestal.

"Like the case of Latin America, those of us that are still far from attaining the status of developing nation, should learn from Mexico's success story. It shouldn't take us anything to move from manufacturing economy to knowledge economy," he posited.

The former Mexican number one citizen added, "Agriculture can help countries move to the next stage. It is only through the improvement of the economy that countries can move to the next level."

He lamented that Agricultural technology today, is archaic, hence, the need for government to bring new technology to the people and provide enabling environment for investors.

In his opening speech, Ogun State Governor who doubles as the Chief Host, Senator Ibikunle Amosun said urban development with focus on housing remains the most important investment to create jobs, but added that this would be realistic with investors being transparent and accountable in their participation.

His words, "On Urban development, housing is the most useful investment tool to create jobs, but in achieving this, there must be transparency and accountability, with private sector participation."

Amosun said the development of the cities and towns is critical importance to growth, adding that he stands the importance of achieving this in a sustainable manner. The governor opined that effective collaboration between government and business is a sine qua non for dealing with problems in societies today.
