Funmi  Tayo-Ajimoko, a banker with experience spanning twelve (12) years has worked for several banks in Nigeria. She and her husband, an expatriate senior drilling engineer with Addax Petroleum currently live in Accra, Ghana. Before arriving in Ghana, they had lived in Luanda, Angola, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

 

She learnt some Arabic while in Oman and her conversational Portuguese improved tremendously before they left Luanda. Funmi is also the daughter of late Chief (Mrs) Yetunde and Michael Adedapo Omisade. Her dad was a Nigerian lawyer and politician who represented Ife in the Federal House of Representatives during the Nigerian first republic. Her maternal grandmother was also the late Iyalode of Ibadan, the first female senator of Nigeria, late Chief Mrs Wuraola Esan.
